NextRole is a powerful Chrome extension designed to help job seekers identify companies with UK sponsorship licenses while browsing job listings on major job boards. With real-time data updates and seamless integration, NextRole simplifies the job search process for those seeking visa-sponsored roles in the UK.
This is possibly the best and easiest way to find the list of UK sponsorship companies on the go while actively browsing job listings on all popular job websites.

- Totaljobs
How it works?
While browsing job listings, NextRole provides the 3 badges and a search box
Sponser : Indicates that a company has an active UK sponsorship license. This means a high match with the official UK sponsor list, as the name matches exactly with government records.
Similar : Indicates a possible sponsorship license. This means the company may have a sponsorship license. When you hover over the job listing, a popup will appear, showing a list of companies that are possible matches. You may need to manually verify this information. This was added by us to reduce the chances of missing a good job for everyone who is looking.
No Sponsor : If the company does not match any entries, it will be labeled as “No Sponsor.” However, if you feel the job is a good fit or suspect the company may be a sponsor, use the search feature again to confirm. But we always strongly recommend to manually check the information using our very own search which is right there.
NextRole Search :This is essentially a search box located at the top right of the mentioned websites (LinkedIn, Totaljobs, Indeed, and Glassdoor as of now). You are required to enter the exact legal name of the company, which is then checked against the current data from the Sponsor List published on Gov.uk.Don’t need the search bar? Just minimize it.
Here is how it works on Indeed :
Here is how it works on LinkedIn:
How the NextRole Search Works :
- Visit any of the supported websites
- Browse job listings as usual.
- Look for the note that clearly indicates whether the company is on the UK Sponsor List.
- Use the search feature at the top right (which can be minimized if needed).
How is the data sourced ?
- The database automatically updates every week as of now.
- Data is sourced from the UK Government Register of Licensed Sponsors.
- The last update time of the UK Company Sponsors List is displayed in the extension popup.

While I can’t disclose everything planned for the next update, the core vision is to integrate AI into the Chrome extension to simplify the process of finding sponsored jobs and companies, while also enhancing your ability to network effectively.
The Chrome extension is just the starting point. Some challenges simply can’t be solved through an extension alone. That’s why we’re working on launching a full-fledged web app that will offer a more powerful, comprehensive solution, backed by reliable, real-time data on everything related to sponsorship..
